Born on June 25th, 1975, in Lindi, Tanzania, Boniface developed a passion for art at a young age and honed his skills through various life experiences. In 1998, he met his mentor, Hamimu Lugsha, in Zanzibar, and they collaborated for many years.


Since 2002, Boniface has been working as a professional artist, collaborating with both government and private institutions. His artwork is heavily influenced by the African way of life, and he reinterprets traditional figures with a modern eye and techniques.
